Medical Monopoly is a game in which players visit museums, exhibitions and galleries around South Kensington to answer site-specific questions about medical exhibits. Teams accumulate virtual money through providing correct answers to questions, accomplishing creative challenges on Chance Cards (if you choose to risk it!), and engaging in Community Chest tasks.
You will need to be available to play between 12.30pm and 5 pm on Wednesday 13 March.
To play costs £14 per person which includes light refreshments before and after the game.
Players sign up as individuals and are allocated to a team. It’s a great way to meet conference delegates before the conference starts.
The venues all have wheelchair access and we’ll make reasonable adjustments to the game to accommodate any disabilities.
There are limited places available. Register your interest now and we’ll send you further details and an opportunity to sign up for the game in January 2020.
Conference game: Edventure
Transform MedEd 2020 will include an exciting conference game, Edventure, in which players can embark on quests, complete missions and use their sleuthing skills to solve a mystery. Participation is free and optional for all conference delegates. There will be a variety of ways to play. Why have a conference game? It’s a fun way to interact in new ways with fellow delegates, learn more about the conference venue, and get the most out of the conference programme. The game is designed to enhance your experience of the conference as well as showcasing how games can be used in education – one of the sub-themes of the conference.
