Bright ideas in medical education

Bright Ideas offers a fresh perspective on the Transform MedEd programme. It is designed for clinical and education professionals at transition points in their careers. These could be new clinicians taking on bedside teaching, early career researchers moving to independent research or senior scholars in transition to leadership roles.

This theme breaks away from the traditional structure of the conference programme with flexible sessions designed to encourage interaction between participants. Participant numbers are smaller than for other theme sessions with opportunities for ECRs to have feedback on their research and for experts in the field to network with each other and with junior colleagues.

The aim of our Bright Ideas theme is to develop an inclusive, encouraging environment in which medical educators can meet to generate new ideas for research and practice.
